McCarthy Holdings Completes Acquisition of Castle Contracting and CastleGPS

ST. LOUIS, Mo. — McCarthy Holdings, Inc. recently finalized the acquisition of Castle Contracting along with its subsidiary CastleGPS. Castle provides turnkey civil services, utilities, earthwork and trenchless technology directly to owners, general contractors and mechanical, electrical and plumbing contractors. Additionally, Castle's leading-edge GPS technology provides subsurface 3-D utility mapping. Castle is now a subsidiary of McCarthy and will continue under the Castle brand name.

Together, McCarthy and Castle now offer enhanced specialized civil and underground solutions for clients looking for these services. Our new partnership is a win-win for both organizations and enables us to better fulfill a need for these services that our clients are requesting.”

With the official closing of the deal, Castle Founder Julie Ledbetter concurred, “The demand for the services Castle delivers is strong. Mike Myers, a 13-year Castle veteran and the newly named vice president of operations responsible for day-to-day Castle operations, added, “The commitment and capabilities of our employees has placed us on the edge of truly remarkable possibilities. With the closing of this acquisition, we are excited to move forward with our new McCarthy partners together.”

Both companies are privately held and terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
