NoteVault, CMiC Integration Simplifies Construction Reporting

SAN DIEGO, Calif. — NoteVault, a provider of voice-to-text-based mobile reporting solutions for the commercial construction industry, recently announced its integration with CMiC, a full ERP software solutions provider for the construction industry.

The integration between the two systems provides greater transparency and visibility for executives into the day-to-day project reporting and saves hours of administration time for project managers and superintendents.

“Having access to the daily reports through the CMiC portal is a huge advantage,” said NoteVault CEO Peter Lasensky. “It allows construction companies to keep all their information and daily reports in one place. That's where the record of truth is.”

With the new NoteVault and CMiC integration, construction companies will be able to:

  • Increase transparency and visibility for executives. As daily field reports are synched directly with CMiC, executives don"t need to jump between different systems to access their daily business information and can make quicker decisions to safeguard the project.
  • Save hours of administration time by providing a single storage for data. This means that all report information from NoteVault is synced with CMiC, allowing project managers, superintendents and executives to get daily updates directly in their existing enterprise resource software. This reduces the need to visit notevault.com, check email, etc. Everything exists natively in CMiC. In addition, it reduces the need for duplicate data entry, while increasing data integrity.

CMiC Chief Marketing Officer Bassem Hamdy explained, “We aim to offer the most comprehensive and advanced solutions available for the construction industry. The integration of NoteVault allows customers to conduct their day-to-day business processes smarter, faster and more efficiently by enabling them to record detailed notes and freeing up time that would have otherwise been spent writing daily reports.”

“NoteVault's alliance with CMiC has numerous benefits to us,” explained Webcor Builders IT Project Manager Matt Lamb. “The integration reduces the need for duplicate data entry, minimizes errors and also increases our data integrity. Everyone involved on a project from the foreman all the way up to the top executive decision makers always have real-time access to the daily reports. It's crucial that the entire team is on the same page with current progress and any setbacks.”
